Dyscalculia Screening

This takes one to one and a half hours via Zoom using the GL screener, along with working memory tests and an in-depth checklist. This gives an indicator as to whether dyscalculia is present. It is NOT a formal diagnosis.

Supporting your child or young adult during their assessment

We work with many neurodiverse children. If your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, ASD or sensory processing disorder, we will make sure they are appropriately supported during their assessment. Assessments take around 3 hours, sometimes a little longer if more breaks are needed. There is a rest room with Wifi at  Lancing for parents/carers, and easy onsite parking. Children enjoy the assessment (we call it a quiz) and get lots of great stickers!

Prior to assessment, you will be asked to complete the Adult Rating Scale for ADHD, or a pre-dyspraxia scale. The ADHD and dyspraxia elements will be investigated during the assessment.  The findings (put into your dyslexia report) are for work or educational purposes only (and give sufficient evidence for DSA applications). The evidence gathered is to show whether characteristic features of ADHD or Dyspraxia features are present. You cannot use the report to obtain medication from a GP or claim benefits for ADHD or dyspraxia.
